ARMAGH CAMOGIE CLUB & COUNTY NOTICES

St Patrick’s Keady Camogie Club

  Friday 24th February @ 7:30pm  

The Keady camogie club are holding their annual dinner dance and awards night. Tickets are priced at £15 each for a 4 course meal, dancing afterwards plus full bar facilities… We hope you all have a great get together on the night. And enjoy celebration the clubs success in the 2011 season… 

County Teams

Our u/18 girls are out in action for the first time this year on Saturday 25th February in the All-Ireland Minor B Championship, Armagh v Carlow. This match will be played in Carlow town hurling pitch throw in @ 2 p.m.

  Sunday 26th February sees our senior team out in action in the national league, Armagh v Roscommon and this game will be held in the Morgan athletic grounds in Armagh. Again throw in is @ 2 p.m. We wish both teams every success in these games. 

Armagh Senior player Ciara Donnelly from the Granemore club has yet another award to add to the many she has already won in her short camogie career to date. Ciara’s skills have once again shone bright as she has been awarded a prestigious Purcell cup All Star. Well done Ciara, your award is very much deserved for all the hard work and dedication you have shown club and county throughout the years. Although having moved from Granemore to Eglish in county Tyrone Ciara remained faithful to her camogie roots in Granemore and her beloved County Armagh. Everyone in the club and county camogie circle send you many congratulations. 

Mullaghbawn Camogie Club 

Saturday 10th March @ 4.30PM “PLANT OF THE ASH”  

Celebrating their silver anniversary for 25 Years playing… from 1987 – 2012

To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Mullaghbawn Camogie Club will plant an Ash Tree on Saturday 10th March in the Mullaghbawn GAA Grounds at 4.30pm.
This celebration will be a great symbol of our game and a commitment to sustaining it in the future. It is hoped that with good roots the tree like Mullaghbawn Camogie club will every year grow bigger and better.     

 After the presentation, refreshments will be provided and served in the club rooms alongside traditional music from our local talents.
As always they would like to encourage as many players, parents and children as possible to celebrate with them on this historical occasion.
