Ulster Camogie Prepares for Awards Lunch

Ulster Camogie’s finest volunteers, players and coaches will be honoured at the NWP Recycling Ulster Camogie Awards Lunch on Saturday 24th November in Kelly’s Inn Garvaghey. Austin O’ Callaghan will present the awards which will have Uachtáran Cumann Camógaíochta  Aileen Lawlor, Ulster GAA Vice-President & Integration Committee Chairman Martin McAviney and representatives from sponsors NWP Recycling as special guests.

This year’s awards see’s three new categories in an effort to ensure that all types of our volunteers are recognised which are Coach/Manager of the Year, Inter-County Referee of the Year and Emerging Referee of the Year.

Among those included in the awards will be Senior and Junior Championship Player of the Year, Minor Championship and Shield Players, Administrator, Volunteer, PRO and the County Final Match Programme of the Year. Ulster Camogie Chairperson Kathleen Woods will also present the Chairpersons Award for 2012. This was awarded to the Cavan County Board in 2011 for their tremendous work for the  Cavan History Book
