Mum & Me Tutor Training

In the coming week Ulster Camogie are running two workshops aimed at training tutors to deliver Mum & Me programmes. The Mum & Me programme is aimed at increasing participation by both mothers and daughters in our game at club level. The course brings mums and daughters together on one night a week over a six week period where the mums learn how to coach the basic skills and the daughters learn how to perform these skills.

The workshops will cover the coaching of the basic skills of Grip and Swing, Dribbling, Roll Lift and Jab Lift, Face Catch, Shoulder Clash and Strike From The Hand using the IDEAL Coaching Model of Introduce Demonstrate Explain Action Looking. The workshops will take place in the below venues.

Creggan – Thursday March 21 ^st 7pm-9pm

Newry- St Ronan’s PS-  Wednesday 27th March 7-9pm
