Six Counties contest NWP Recycling Ulster Finals

This Saturday the NWP Recycling Ulster Camogie Championship Finals take place in Derry at the new Centre of Excellence facility at Owenbeg, Dungiven. Hosts Derry will face Down in the Senior Championship Final at 3.45pm.

In the 2012 Ulster Championship Semi-Final Derry secured victory with two very late goals in Extra Time on route to securing the Ulster title. Derry will be very weary of this Down side who will be hoping to avenge that defeat.

In the Intermediate Final Tyrone will face off against a young Intermediate team from Antrim. The Intermediate Championship is back on the calendar this year after not being played in 2012. Both Antrim and Down have fielded second teams in this competition and this will be another exciting game as Tyrone hope to secure Ulster honours.

The Junior Final sees a repeat of the 2012 decider when an experienced Cavan side narrowly defeated Armagh’s second side in Casement Park. This will again be another challenge of youth v experience and if the game is anything like last years then it also promises to be a cracker.
