Mum & Me a success in Dromintee

New mums and daughters turned out last night and braved the wintry weather for the second Mum & Me Camogie coaching programme in Dromintee.

In the first week mothers and daughters were skilled on grip and swing leading to striking of ground ball.  In the second week the skill to learn was dribbling.

Dromintee were assisted by Regional Development officer Lisa McAliskey and all participants wished Lisa good luck for Sunday’s competition. Lisa and her team mates ‘Liatroim Fontenoys’ of Down play ‘Lismore’ of Waterford in the ‘Intermediate All-Ireland Club Semi-Final’ in Kinegad, Westmeath.

The programme continues on Tuesday at 7pm in the JADE centre.
