2015 Liberty Insurance GAA Coaching Conference – ‘Putting Youth into Perspective’

Following on from the success of the 2014 Conference – which focussed on issues related to the development of the child player – the 2015 Conference will focus on issues related to the Youth Player (aged 13 – 18 years).
Programme
Friday, January 9th will see the first Coach Education forum in the GAA. This event will outline the future of coach development, and is a must see event for anyone concerned with the development of our coaches.
Saturday, January 10th will be a combination of key note addresses, parallel discussions and a players forum which will focus on ‘Putting Youth into Perspective’
Speakers
The Liberty Insurance GAA Games Development Conference welcomes a range of speakers from Ireland and overseas.
Saturday, January 10th will see a spectacular range of speakers presenting on issues related to the teenage player. Some of the confirmed speakers include:
- Noel Connors: Waterford Senior Hurler
- Liam Cronin: GAA Coordinator, Árd Scoil Rís, Limerick
- Cathal Cregg: Roscommon Senior Footballer and Connacht GAA Strength and Conditioning Officer
- Peter Casey: Coach, Clare Senior Camogie Team 2012 – 2014, and Clare GAA Games Development Administrator
- Brian Ryan: Manager, Kilkenny U. 21 Hurlers 2014 and Kilkenny Games Development Manager
- Des Ryan: Head of Sports Science and Sports Medicine, Arsenal Academy
- Pat O’Shea: Former Manager Kerry Senior Football Team and Munster Games Development Manager
