Let the people stand up against any cuts in the Sport NI budget!!

Everyone please follow the link below conducted by the Northern Ireland Sports Forum so we can let the Northern Ireland Executive know the importance of sport in Irish society and the detrimental impact any reduction in funding could have on not just the GAA but sport in general.

In light of the proposed 11.2% cut from the Sport NI budget, in cooperation with Sport NI we have drafted a petition to be presented to the Northern Ireland Executive along with a draft letter which can be sent to DCAL outlining our concerns over how potential cuts could affect our organisations.

It is important that those passionate about sport have their voices heard as part of the consultation which closes on 29th December. We would appreciate if all Governing Bodies could send out this information on how to sign the petition and circulate to clubs via email, website and social media.
