Ulster Colleges u14B Qualifying Blitz

Group 2 of the Ulster College’s U14B qualifying blitz day was held at Ahoghill.  Our Lady & St Patrick’s College Knock, St Pius X Magherafelt, St Paul’s Kilrea and St Louis Ballymena were the four schools involved.  The sun was shining down and there was six great games of camogie. The talent and skill level on display was excellent.  After all games had been completed, St Louis Ballymena advanced to the semi final stage as they topped the group and St Pius X progress to another qualifying blitz day where they will play the other two runners up from the group to determine who will seal the final semi final spot.  This blitz is due to be played by 28th March so semi finals will follow after that.

Well done to all the girls for a very entertaining and high scoring day of camogie.  Thanks to all the staff members who prepared the teams for today and work hard to provide camogie at this level for our players.  Thanks also to Paedar Lagan and Siobhan Poulter who officiated the games.
