Players and management of the Armagh County Minor Camogie Team receive best wishes from Jim and Rosemary Mone in the All Ireland Final against Roscommon

The Armagh County Minor Camogs take on Roscommon in the All Ireland Championship  Final on Saturday. This courageous young team and management have worked hard in the qualifying rounds defeating Carlow, Kerry and Westmeath. Many of the players are well experienced having played County, Colleges and club camogie over a number of seasons. Last weekend Captain Ciarrai Devlin and Ciara Hill received Ulster Colleges All Star Awards.  Leah Mc Goldrick had All Ireland Rugby trials on the morning of the All Ireland semi final game in Dublin a testimony to the dedication of the team. Local Crossmaglen camogs Chantelle O’Neill and Shannon Jennings and the camogs in orange and white will fly the flag proudly for the Orchard County.

Armagh Minor Management Trio of Maggie mckee, Aine French and Bernie mcbride bring a wealth of personal experience to the post. They have all donned the Armagh jersey and have All Ireland Medals from Junior Championship in 1993 and Intermediate in 1994 in their pocket. Not only have they achieved success on the field of play but all three were involved in the County Under 14 team who were successful in winning the All Ireland Under 14 Blitz. Maggie mckee was part of the management team when Armagh first won the Nancy Murray Cup back in 2006 , on that occasion Bernie mcbride was the victorious Captain and both ladies were involved in coaching the County Under 16 team for a number of years. Aine has been involved with the County Minor team over the past few years when the reached the All Ireland Final on two successive occasions and no doubt will be seeking victory on Saturday.
